CompTIA Adds Performance-Based Questions to the A+, Security+, and Network+ Exams

This month CompTIA will begin the transition to include performance-based questions in the A+, Network+, and Security+ exams. This addition began with the launch of the new A+ exam in October and transition to the other exams in late Q4 and early Q1.

The exams currently contain multiple choice questions in which the candidate is asked to select one or more correct answers to a question. The addition of performance-based questions provides you with a simulated environment where you will work through real world IT infrastructure scenarios. These new questions (including multiple choice, multiple selection, and calculator-assisted) will test  your specific knowledge and skills, providing a more accurate measurement of your qualifications.
